Peter Jay Sharp Theater
- The Juilliard School, 155 W. 65th St., New York, NY 10023
Program information:
Juilliard Dance offers a 45-minute relaxed performance featuring excerpts from New Dances: Edition 2023 specially curated for audiences of all ages.
Selections will be chosen from four world premieres by New York-based choreographers working across a range of styles with live music played by Juilliard music students.
Relaxed performances are open to all, and designed for people with autism, sensory and communication disorders or learning disabilities. Modifications to sensory elements of artistic work may be made without changing the work itself. This structure can also be beneficial for families with young children, people who are neurodivergent, and anyone who finds traditional performance protocols do not work for their accessibility needs.
