Women in Art and Music is a two-part conference hosted jointly by The Juilliard School and the National Gallery’s Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts. The conference is organized by Eve Straussman-Pflanzer (National Gallery) and Elizabeth Weinfield (Juilliard).
Presentations and performances will think more broadly about women as creators, as part of the cultural and global economy, and as experts in their chosen fields of art. See the full conference's program here.

The conference is held in two locations: Part 1 is October 18 at The Juilliard School in New York, NY, and Part 2 is October 20-21 at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC.
Registration for each day’s sessions is free, and participants may attend the conference in person or watch via livestream.
